Hi there!
I´m just on the way to read your next chapters. Just thought I´d mention a little curiosity.
As my englishness was only borrowed and temporary, there are certain aspects of your history of which I only have veiled references. As to Joanna Southcott. I Think she was some kind of religious profetess from late XVIIIth century.
Somewhere in a book about Christianity I do remember quite distictly a gillrayesque caricature with a fatty woman bearing a club and hitting bishops and a Pope. An old hag was beside her, and curious aditions to the picture included 'Elijah's mantle' and 'Angel hair'.
